Why Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM)?

Our role is to provide consultation, guidance, and collaboration for patients who have factors that may complicate pregnancy. This could mean:

• You have had a difficult pregnancy, miscarriage, or other loss in the past.
• You have, or have previously had, a medical condition that could be associated with pregnancy complications.
• You need recommendations regarding medications during pregnancy or you are age 35 or older.
• You want to plan a strategy for managing a potentially complicated pregnancy.

Our goal is to provide you with an individualized, personal experience to help you plan for and manage a pregnancy that might have some associated risks. Your maternal health is vital when it comes to ensuring the best possible outcome for you and your future baby.
